Disciplinary Procedure
Certain standards of behaviour are required to maintain good employment relations and discipline in the workplace, and this policy explains how and why procedures have to be followed. It takes into account procedures for employees of either less than, or more than, one year’s employment, covering meetings / written warnings and appeals. Offences under the heading of Gross Misconduct usually involve instant dismissal and examples of these are given, along with guidelines of how and when an appeal may be lodged.
